Melissa is originally from a suburb in Chicagoland. She moved to North Carolina 20 years ago and has been enjoying the mountains ever since. The scenic mountain roads can be especially exhilarating for her weekend motorcycle adventures discovering charming hometown eateries and shops.
She went to Columbia College Chicago where she earned a BA in Photography. She spent the first 15 years of her career working in the printing industry as a graphic designer and prepress specialist. After that she spent several years working in the ecommerce industry.
She started at the McKinney Agency in May 2025, and it is her first time working in the insurance industry. She has enjoyed learning about insurance and looks forward to spending many years with the McKinney Agency.
