Doug McKinney is a graduate of Clemson University and has worked in the insurance industry since 1975. He and his wife Sandy founded McKinney Insurance Agency in Asheville in 1981. Since that time, Doug has grown to become one of only three Nationwide “Hall of Fame” members in the state for the #1 property and casualty insurance company in North Carolina.

Doug has received numerous agency accolades, including Nationwide All-Star Team Member (five times), Conference of Champions Award (30+ times), Million Dollar Round Table Qualifier and Council Awards for Auto, Commercial, and Life. He is licensed in NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, KY, OH, VA and supervises all product line
